PRISON ABOLITION
Prison-abolitionist political prisoners include those imprisoned for organizing inside (Sean Swain, Kevin 'Rashid' Johnson, the Pendleton 2, Joe-Joe Bowen) and those imprisoned for defending people inside (the Free Alabama Movement, the August 21 / 9 movements). Many are serving sentences that were directly extended in retaliation for hunger strikes, work strikes, and writing from inside.
