Biography

Thomas Coleman Hawkins Private of the 24th Infantry Regiment. Soldier of the 24th Infantry hanged with twelve others at sunrise on December 11, 1917, at Fort Sam Houston, after conviction in the first court-martial for mutiny and murder. Conviction formally set aside by U.S. Army November 2023 (posthumous).
