Biography

Roy Tyler Pvt. Roy Tyler of the 24th Infantry was sentenced to life imprisonment at Fort Leavenworth following conviction in one of the Houston riot court-martials. Paroled December 14, 1924 along with three other Houston rioters; went on to play in the Negro baseball leagues. Conviction set aside November 2023.
