Jesse Ball Moore Corporal of the 24th Infantry Regiment. Cpl. Jesse Ball Moore was a 24th Infantry NCO hanged December 11, 1917 at Fort Sam Houston following conviction in the first Houston court-martial. Conviction formally set aside by U.S. Army November 2023 (posthumous).
