Biography
Sarah Tosi, from Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey, was twenty at the Camden 28 indictment. A 1969 graduate of Immaculate Heart Academy and National Honor Society president, she had been a district coordinator in the 1968 McCarthy campaign, attended Wellesley College, and was active in Boston's Paulist Center and in Dorchester community work. Later accounts identify her among the drivers supporting the Camden operation rather than those inside the draft-board office. She was severed from the main trial and her charges were dismissed after the May 1973 acquittals.
