Biography

Rev. Milo Billman, a Lutheran minister ordained in 1958, was the only Protestant clergyman among the Camden 28. He had worked with Appalachian communities near Cincinnati, helped develop an antipoverty organization in Columbus, and served as outreach director of Camden's EPOC program. He was severed from the main trial and his charges were dismissed after the May 1973 acquittals.
