Biography

Risley W. Young Private of the 24th Infantry Regiment. Pvt. Risley W. Young of the 24th Infantry was hanged at sunrise December 11, 1917 at Fort Sam Houston for his alleged role in the August 23 march on Houston. Conviction formally set aside by U.S. Army November 2023 (posthumous).
