Biography
The Rev. J. C. Crenshaw was the president of the Little Rock NAACP branch, arrested with Daisy Bates in November 1957 for the organization's refusal to disclose its membership and finances under a city ordinance — part of the campaign against the NAACP during the Little Rock school-integration crisis.
