Biography
G. E. Graves Jr. was an NAACP attorney in Miami, cited for contempt by the Florida Legislative Investigating Committee (the 'Johns Committee') when he refused to answer its questions during the 1958 hearings that sought to expose and dismantle the NAACP in the wake of school desegregation.
