Biography

Ayoub Tabri, 24, of Arlington, VA was charged for the arson of a Pennsylvania State Police SUV during civil unrest in Philadelphia on May 30, 2020. PSP placed two patrol SUVs at the on-ramp for I-676 to prevent protestors from accessing the highway; a group attacked the vehicles, shattering windows and stealing road flares, fire extinguishers, and "riot bags" of PSP-issued equipment. Tabri allegedly threw a lit road flare into K1-17, igniting a fire that engulfed the SUV. Tabri was wanted by the FBI Philadelphia Joint Terrorism Task Force prior to capture. Sentenced to 30 months federal prison.
