Biography
On May 28, 2020 as part of ongoing protests sparked by George Floyd's murder, Alexander Steven Heil, 24, joined and engaged with others to accelerate a fire in the Wells Fargo Bank building in south Minneapolis. Per defense filings, Heil "went to the Lake Street area to be part of the protest, drank too much and in a senseless, impulsive act while clearly under the influence of alcohol, threw a traffic cone into the existing fire." Sentenced to 30 months federal prison.
