Biography
Landon Williams was a national Black Panther Party field marshal sent from the California headquarters to New Haven in May 1969, who (with George Sams) directed the interrogation of Alex Rackley in the days before his murder. Arrested in Denver in June 1969, he fought extradition from Colorado for an extended period before being returned to Connecticut. In late 1971 he pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit murder and received a suspended sentence.
