Biography

James Divine Private of the 24th Infantry Regiment. Pvt. James Divine was hanged with the 13 soldiers at Salado Creek on December 11, 1917 after secret pre-dawn executions ordered by the Commanding General without the customary appellate review. Conviction formally set aside by U.S. Army November 2023 (posthumous).
