Biography

David Watson, a Black Oberlin, Ohio resident, was one of the twenty men committed to the Cuyahoga County Jail for the 1858 Oberlin–Wellington Rescue of the freedom-seeker John Price. He remained jailed from April 15 until the general release on July 6, 1859.
