Ray Boudreaux

Boudreaux, another former Black Panther swept into the reopened 1971 investigation, became publicly associated with criticism of the renewed prosecution and with efforts to highlight alleged coercion and procedural irregularities surrounding the decades-old evidence.

He was arrested in January 2007 in the San Francisco 8 sweep and initially faced murder and conspiracy allegations tied to the 1971 police killing. As the case narrowed and remaining defendants entered pleas, charges against Boudreaux were dismissed in 2009.
