Biography
Taylor, living in Panama City by the 2000s, was one of the former Black Panthers arrested when the decades-old 1971 case was revived and pursued across multiple states.
He was arrested in January 2007 and charged in connection with the 1971 killing of a San Francisco police sergeant. After extended litigation and a narrowing of the prosecution, charges against Taylor were dismissed in 2009.
