Biography

Morris E. Shubin was one of the six Molokan absolutists from Glendale, Arizona who refused the WWI draft. Court-martialed via Fort Huachuca and Fort Riley, he served a fifteen-year sentence at Fort Leavenworth and was amnestied by President Wilson in April 1919.
