Biography
Margaret Mary Inness (November 6, 1944 – August 22, 2021) was a Boston native, a Regis College graduate, a former novice with the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur, and a special-education teacher completing a master's degree at Boston College at the time of the Camden 28 indictment. Tried as one of the seventeen and acquitted on May 20, 1973, she went on to teach in Boston public schools for more than thirty years. Her married name was Margaret Inness Galvani. She died in Savannah, Georgia on August 22, 2021 — fifty years to the day after the raid.
