Biography
Frank Westerlund, an IWW organizer from Duluth, Minnesota, was convicted at the mass IWW trial in Chicago, sentenced to five years in prison and fined $30,000. He served in the Cook County Jail and Leavenworth Penitentiary from January 23, 1918, to April 28, 1919, and from April 26, 1921, until his parole on October 20, 1922. Westerlund had a wife and one child.
