Biography

Archie Sinclair, a laborer and a writer for Solidarity and The Industrial Worker, from Bemidji, Minnesota, was convicted at the mass IWW trial in Chicago and sentenced to ten years in prison. He served eleven months in the Cook County Jail and four years and five months in Leavenworth Penitentiary. He was released on the condition that he would be deported. Sinclair had joined the IWW in 1914.
