Biography
Augustine Cabrera Oroza was one of the five Spanish sailors who deserted a Franco naval vessel and sought political asylum in the United States in July 1957. Held by the immigration service and ordered returned to Spain by a Los Angeles federal court, the five fought their forced repatriation through the Court of Appeals.
