Biography
Terrence McGuckin was an ACT UP/Philadelphia activist arrested during the protests surrounding the 2000 Republican National Convention in Philadelphia. Arrested around August 2, 2000, he was initially held on $500,000 bail, reportedly on misdemeanor charges. After nearly a week in custody, his bail was reduced to $100,000 and he was released at about 10 p.m. on August 8, 2000 — approximately six days jailed.
