Biography

Suzette Bridges (later Suzette Mills) was a Nisqually activist of the Frank's Landing family at the heart of the treaty fishing-rights struggle on the Nisqually River. A daughter of Al and Maiselle Bridges, she was repeatedly arrested at fish-in protests in the 1960s and married fellow activist Sid Mills.
