Biography
Shorty Stevenson was a Steel Workers' Organizing Committee leader arrested with roughly 200 strikers on June 22, 1937 in the Youngstown, Ohio Little Steel strike. He was jailed for allegedly carrying a gun he 'had never seen until the sheriff offered it in evidence' and released on $5,000 bail.
