Biography

R. Kuilmen, from Eureka, received a four-year prison sentence, which he served in San Quentin from April 10, 1923, until his term expired for attending a meeting of the IWW local in Eureka. In June 1924, IWW inmates struck to protest Kuilmen's detention in solitary confinement.
