Biography
Paul Davis, identified in contemporary reports as an ACT UP/Philadelphia leader, was arrested during the August 2000 Republican National Convention protests and held on approximately $450,000 to $500,000 bail. Reports said he remained in jail alongside Kate Sorensen. He spent at least several days in custody; a dependable release date has not been found, so the total duration is presently undetermined.
