Biography

Morris Rubin was a skilled upholsterer and a charter member of the Furniture Workers Union in Los Angeles who lived for seven years under a deportation order issued under the Walter-McCarran Act. He died on Nov. 6, 1958, a day after immigration agents visited his home.
