Biography

Esther Sazer was a Russian-born member of the Independent Office Workers in Los Angeles targeted for deportation during the McCarthy-era drive against foreign-born trade unionists. Her case was among those featured in the National Guardian's 1952 reporting on the union deportation campaign.
