Biography
Chicago-based leader of the Movimiento de Liberación Nacional Puertorriqueño (MLN) and longtime director of the Puerto Rican Cultural Center in Humboldt Park; brother of Oscar López Rivera. Jailed for civil contempt for refusing to cooperate with federal grand juries investigating the FALN in the late 1970s and 1980s. Documented in PFOC Breakthrough magazine.
