Biography

On June 1, 2020 around 3 a.m., Boampong was driving near Arlington & Boylston in Boston in front of a store that had been looted that evening. After officers told him to leave, Boampong returned to the area, parked, and shot at least 11 times toward officers — including a deputized federal officer. A Sig Sauer P230 9mm with Boampong's fingerprint was recovered from his car; he was prohibited from possessing firearms due to pending state charges. Sentenced to 60 months federal prison.
