Biography
Howard Nall is a protestor who, while attending a Black Lives Matter protest in Grand Rapids, was arrested and sentenced in February 2022 to “two and a half to ten” years in prison, an additional jail sentence, and more than $40,000 in restitution for the destruction of a parking meter. The sentence Nall received was disproportionate over minor property damage, illustrating how the state heavily cracked down on Black Lives Matter protestors.
