Biography
Henry Parker, 30, of Wichita, KS was sentenced to 25 years in prison for firing multiple gunshots at police officers during a June 2, 2020 protest in north Wichita following the death of George Floyd. To disperse the crowd, SWAT officers fired tear gas; Parker fired on the officers, striking 1-2 officers' riot helmets. He was found guilty July 22, 2022 and sentenced in March 2023. According to court records, Parker "was upset when a woman he called his sister was hit with a rubber bullet while she held a baby."
