Biography

Erica Enzer was a Chicago pacifist arrested in 1958 in the nonviolent campaign against construction of the nation's first intercontinental ballistic missile base near Cheyenne, Wyoming. Convicted of trespassing, she chose to serve out her $100 fine in jail at a dollar a day.
