Biography

Arthur Springer was a Brooklyn pacifist, one of the first two organizers of the 1958 nonviolent campaign against the Atlas ICBM missile base near Cheyenne, Wyoming. Arrested for trespassing, he pleaded not guilty and used his time on bond to rally support for the protest.
