Biography
Elizabeth Ford was a Socialist Labor Party editor in Faribault, Minnesota who was convicted under the Espionage Act of 1917 for anti-war agitation during World War I. She was sentenced to one year in prison and a $500 fine — one of a small group of women editors swept up by federal wartime prosecutions of socialist publications.
