Biography

Eddie Maleski, not yet nineteen, was the youngest of the eight Zeigler, Illinois miners convicted in March 1926 in the "Zeigler frame-up" of assault with intent to murder; because of his age he was sent to the reformatory at Pontiac rather than the penitentiary, and was bailed pending appeal.
