Biography

Dan B. Speed was the car-pool coordinator of the Inter-Civic Council in Tallahassee, arrested without warrant and convicted with Rev. C. K. Steele and 19 others in 1956 for operating the bus-boycott car pool as an 'illegal transportation system.'
