Cortez Lamont Edwards

Cortez Lamont Edwards, 29, of Louisville, KY was charged as a felon in possession of a firearm. On September 23, 2020 Edwards went live on Facebook with an AR variant pistol with a non-extendible support brace and extended magazine. He stated he was requesting payment of $30,000 to shoot Louisville Metro PD officers responding to a disturbance in front of his residence. He had a 2019 felony conviction for trafficking in a controlled substance. ATF, HSI, U.S. Marshals, FPS, and LMPD executed a search warrant at his residence and recovered a Glock 19 9mm pistol. Sentenced to 30 months federal prison plus 2 years supervised release.
