Biography
Bill Murdock was an NTWU leader whose skull was fractured by police and who was held for deportation to Scotland in the 1931 Lawrence, Massachusetts textile strike. In the 1931 strike of 23,000 textile workers at Lawrence, Massachusetts, the National Textile Workers' Union leadership was mass-arrested and several foreign-born organizers were held for deportation to break the strike.
