Biography

William T. Murdoch was one of the leaders of the 1928 New Bedford, Massachusetts textile strike, jailed repeatedly on charges of "disturbing the peace" and serving months in the city jail for his picket-line activity, as the ILD's Labor Defender reported through the strike.
