Biography
Willa Mae Henderson, an Albany State College student whom the catalog describes as an innocent bystander swept up in the arrests, was among those arrested in Albany, Georgia, on December 10, 1961, when police charged the arriving Freedom Riders and their local supporters with disorderly conduct, obstructing traffic, and failure to obey an officer after the confrontation over the white waiting room at the train station.
