Biography
W. H. Lewis, a miner and secretary of the Metal Mine Workers Indus- trial Union, Local 800, in Miami, Arizona, was convicted at the mass IWW trial in Chicago, sentenced to five years in prison and fined $10,000. He served in the Cook County Jail and Leavenworth Penitentiary from September 1917 to March 1918, from September 1918 to June 1920 and from April 1921 to December 22, 1923.
