Biography
Vladimir Lossieff, an editor from New York, New York, was convicted at the mass IWW trial in Chicago, sentenced to twenty years in prison and fined $20,000. He served in the Cook County Jail and Leavenworth Penitentiary from September 1917 to April 1918 and from September 7, 1918, to June 30, 1919, when he was released on bond. Lossieff jumped bail andbecamea fugitive from the law. In 1925, Lossieff was reported to be in Russia.
