Biography
Patpanathan, along with Nachimuthu Socrates, Murugesu Vinayagamoorthy, Gaspar Raj Maria Paulian, Namasivaya Viswanathan, and an unknown individual conspired to provide resources, currency, training, and false documents to the Tamil Tigers. Patpanathan pleaded guilty to material support charges in June 2009 and was sentenced in February 2011.
