Biography

Vidal Santiago Díaz was Pedro Albizu Campos's barber, besieged for hours and shot and wounded by police and National Guardsmen in his San Juan barbershop during the 1950 Puerto Rican Nationalist uprising. Seized wounded and unarmed, he was sentenced to about two years.
