Biography
Tommy Williams was a St. Petersburg Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee activist arrested and jailed during the December 29, 1966 City Hall mural protest. He was one of four defendants acquitted of grand larceny in May 1967. In a later interview he recalled six months in county jail, but historian Anita Richway Cutting could not substantiate that duration. His detention is documented; its exact length and release date remain unverified.
