Biography
Pedro Perales was one of the Mexican revolutionaries convicted in the 1913 Rangel-Cline case in Texas, captured with the party crossing to join the Mexican Revolution and imprisoned at the Texas State Penitentiary in Huntsville until the group's 1926 pardon.
The June 1925 labor-press political-prisoner birthday notice lists him — spelled Pedro Paroles — at the Blue Ridge State Farm, Hobby, Texas, still imprisoned twelve years after the Rangel-Cline convictions. The notice gives his birthday as June 19, while a similar 1924 list reportedly gave June 29: the June month is secure, the day awaits a prison record (no birth year is given).
