Biography

Norman Silverman was arrested for distributing leaflets headed 'End Mob Rule in Cicero' after the 1951 anti-Black housing riot, and was then swept into the Cook County grand jury's 'conspiracy' indictment that targeted the Clarks' supporters instead of the white rioters.
