Biography
Michael Sykes is an environmentalist anarchist from Lambertville, MI. At age 17, he was sentenced as an adult to 4-10 years in prison and to pay between $200,000 and $400,000 in restitution for eco-related acts of property destruction despite his actions being committed as a minor. He was convicted of setting fire to two homes under construction, and accused of attempting to cut down a utility pole, burning down other homes under construction, and setting fire to a Kroger’s semi-trailer. His motivation was to interfere with sprawl, because he “was tired of seeing all the forest being destroyed.”
