Meyer Baylin was one of six young workers, who was dragged to court with a 104-degree fever by the police Red Squad, who leapt the railing at the closing of the 1932 Los Angeles Olympic Games on 14 August to demand freedom for Tom Mooney; convicted of "disturbing the peace," each was given the maximum 270 days in jail.
